What Will Happen Each Evening?
Each speaker will make a short presentation of about 30 minutes.
Following the presentation, there will be a break for tea/coffee, after which, the Chairperson
Dr Gillian Wylie will open the floor for discussion and questions.
It is our hope that this Ecumenical Lenten Programme will
facilitate everyone to explore together, and that all will feel free and welcome to ask questions and to participate in the discussions.
Tea/Coffee will be served each evening.
There will be baskets at the venue in which participants may like to make a donation, if they wish, to help defray the costs of this Ecumenical Lenten Programme.
Chairperson — Dr Gillian Wylie is a lecturer in International Peace Studies at the Irish School of Ecumenics, part of Trinity College Dublin. Her primary research interest lies in the area of human trafficking for sexual and labour exploitation in the context of globalisation .

The Most Rev. Dr Michael Jackson, is the Church of Ireland Archbishop of Dublin since 2010, having previously been Bishop of Clogher. He is the Chair of NIFCON (Network for Inter-Faith Concerns in the Anglican Communion) and of the Archbishop of Canterbury’s Commission with the Chief Rabbis of Israel., and is also a member of the Anglican Oriental Orthodox Commission.

The Rev. Dr Ruth Patterson, is a Presbyterian Minister, and for the last 21 years has been Director of Restoration Ministries, a non denominational, Christian organisation committed to peace and reconciliation. In 1976, she was the first woman to be ordained in Ireland.

The Future of Spirituality in the Church
Dom. Mark Patrick Hederman OSB, is a Benedictine Monk, teacher, lecturer and writer. Since 2009, he has been Abbot of Glenstal Abbey, County Limerick. A down-to-earth speaker, he also lectures on philosophy and literature.
