Instead, we are encouraging you and your family to come along to the Christingle Service, which is very much geared for children on Sunday 21 December 2014 at 11.30 in St Philip and St James’ Church, and to the Carols by Candlelight later that evening at 19.00 on Sunday 21 December 2014 in St Philip and St James Church.  There will be mulled wine (and juice) and mince pies afterwards.

Also, on Sunday 21 December 2014, there will be ‘A Quiet Christmas’ in St Thomas’ Church at 10.00, however, we ask you not to bring children to this service as it is a very quiet and reflective service designed with those who have been bereaved or ill in mind, and who may not want all the ‘razzle-dazzle’ of Christmas.
