The Parishes of St. Philip & St. James and St. Thomas are located within the Republic of Ireland and subject to the

Use of Cookies
Cookies are small text files which a web server places on your PC. The contents are then sent back to the server later
when you re-visit the web page. We use a temporary cookie to determine whether you started browsing via the St. Philip
& St. James home page or via St. Thomas home page. This cookie is deleted when you close your browser. If cookies are disabled
on your browser (an optional setting) then we note your IP address (this is the address used for communication between your machine and our server)
We may in the future also place a permanent cookie on your machine with the date of your visit - this
will allow us to show you which parts
of the web site have changed since your last visit. If cookies are disabled we
will just show you the most recent changes - even
if you have visited since those changes.
Use of Contact Page
When you fill in the contact form, the email is sent directly to the specified person. All information you filled in is also sent to the
recipient. The recipient will treat the information received in the same manner as they would a phone
conversation or paper letter and apply the same
level of confidentiality and sensitivity.
A notification that a form has been filled in with the intended recipient is sent to the webmaster
for monitoring of use of the contact page. No other information is sent to the webmaster.
Mailing lists Page
The information entered is sent to the webmaster for the mail list processing. Only an email address is required - the
name is optional but helpful. The information is used solely for sending the specified newsletters to you. The webmaster may divulge the
information to the Rector and the Parish Secretary. The information will not be transferred to any other person or
organisation
without your prior consent.
'Click Stream' Web Statistics
To help us understand the usage of the web site we, in common with most web sites, collect what is known as 'click stream' data.
This is information about your machine, the page viewed, date & time of viewing, the browser used, the operating system used, which page
you previously viewed (this contains the search terms if you were re-directed from a Search Engine such as Google), the amount of information transferred
and any errors encountered. When you use the contact page, this includes all the data you entered on the form.
This information is stored on the web server, which may be located outside the Republic of Ireland, for up to 21 days.
The information is also retained by the webmaster, located in the Republic of Ireland, and statistical analysis
information is made available to the Select Vestry. No individual information is divulged. The full information is retained for a period
of up to 2 years and the summary information indefinitely.
