Imagine those who gathered here for the first time in 1874, just a month after the church was consecrated; in a church that was half the size that St Thomas’ Church is now. All are welcome to this service.

This year is extra special as we celebrate Christmas in our special 200th anniversary year since the church was consecrated. Imagine those who gathered here for the first time in 1824. The church was rather different to what it is today. Back in 1824, the church was a rectangular shape; there was no chancel area at the east end of the church and there were no transepts. It must have been very exciting to celebrate Christmas for the first time in a new church. All are welcome to this service. |
